REMSEN, NY — The Remsen Arts Center presents The Usual Suspects in Concert on Friday, November 15, 2019, at 7:00pm at 9627 Main Street, Remsen, NY. General Admission $10, Members $8, Students $5.
The Usual Suspects are a sextet of musicians performing a wide variety of jazz standards, swing, and music from the great Broadway songbook. Their mission is to perpetuate the legacy of this uniquely American musical art form for present and future generations.
The group consists of: Dan Evans a professional jazz pianist for at least sixty of his eighty-three years; Pete Ruben, plays saxophone and clarinet; Mike Plehn, a self-taught drummer and percussionist; Michael Scott Ferris, vocalist, and master of ceremonies; Bill Thistleton, bassist.
