ILION, NY – The Ilion Little Theatre will hold auditions for the comedy Jeeves at Sea – Sunday, February 2 at 6:30 p.m. and Monday, February 3 at 7 p.m. at the theater.
Directed by Char Lyon and Adapted by Margaret Raether, Jeeves at Sea sets sail for laughter as Bertie Wooster revels in life aboard the Vanderley yacht in 1929. Bertie is the pampered guest of the lively Lady Stella, accompanied, as always, by his peerless valet, Jeeves. If only Bertie’s pal Crumpet hadn’t assaulted a prince. In the blink of an eye, Bertie is masquerading as a romance novelist, Crumpet’s posing as his own long-lost twin, and a sinister foreign count is challenging Bertie to a duel. Will this madcap case of mistaken identities end in Bertie’s doom–or worse, his marriage? Have no fear; Jeeves will sort it all out.
Four adult males and two adult females are needed for a variety of roles.
The performance dates for Jeeves at Sea will be April 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 26 as part of the Little Theatre’s 2019-2020 production season continues.
The Ilion Little Theatre is located at 13 Remington Ave in the Village of Ilion, directly behind Remington Arms.
