Native Utican, Kevin Byrd President/Founder of The Brown Byrd Foundation in New York City received a Proclamation Award from Utica’s Mayor Palmieri. Saturday February 2nd, 2019 is Proclaimed as Prostate Cancer Awareness Observance Day in Utica, New York in honor of Brown Byrd Foundation’s mission to fighting Prostate Cancer.
The 11th Annual Prostate Cancer Awareness Observance Day in America was established on February 2nd, 2009 in honor of men who have been diagnosed and died from prostate cancer.
Wearing a Blue Ribbon, Lighting a Blue candle and 19 seconds of silence or praying for men who have died from this disease is requested.
Niagara Falls will be illuminated in Blue on Saturday February 2nd,2019 at 10PM for the 6th consecutive year in honor Brown Byrd Foundation’s fight for prostate cancer.
