UTICA, N.Y., January 11, 2021 – Players Theatre At Home is very excited to bring you its very first full-length online play — the outrageous comedy, “Dearly Departed.”

Directed by Art Felshaw, the play takes place in the Baptist backwoods of the Bible Belt, where the beleaguered Turpin family proves that living and dying in the South are seldom tidy and always hilarious. Technical direction and editing was done by Stephen Wagner. “Dearly Departed” was written by David Dean Bottrell and Jesse Jones.

The play will be presented online for two days only — January 16 and 17 — and will be available to be viewed at any time during those two days.

Subscribers to Players Theatre At Home, through our Patreon page (patreon.com/PlayersofUtica) will have free access to the video. The non-subscriber ticket price is $15.

Denise Borek Morganti, Joni DePerno-Zahas, Nick Abounader, Suzanne Murdock Rodio, Michael O’Brien, Sarah Crill, Marilee Ensign, Art Felshaw, Stephen Wagner, Susan Nackley Mojave, Kelly Yule-Motyl, Tim Huey, and John Murphy.
