Santa Claus, Mayor Palmieri, and his family invite you and your family to join them at Utica City Hall on Thursday, December 12, 2019, for Christmas @ City Hall.
This year Christmas @ City Hall will be bigger than ever. Santa arrives at City Hall on a tractor-driven wagon, escorted by the UPD & Fire Department. Santa and the Mayor then start out the evening with Christmas Carols and the lighting of the City Hall Christmas.
Christmas @ City Hall is free to the public and is attended annually by hundreds who come from throughout central New York.
Christmas @ City Hall is an event that captures the traditions and atmosphere of an old fashioned Christmas featuring live entertainment visits with Santa Claus, cookies, and hot chocolate at City Hall
Christmas @ City Hall brings to life the traditions and atmosphere of an “Old Fashioned Christmas” in the heart of the City where children’s dreams of sugarplums and visits with Santa come to life.
Christmas City Hall continues with an evening of entertainment, refreshments, children’s activities, and of course visits with Santa. Every child who visits Santa will receive a small gift.
Volunteer elves will be there to help the children make special ornaments for their own Christmas tree and write letters to Santa. While the children are waiting they can enjoy a visit with the Utica Zoo Mobile. Families should also take a little time to enjoy an old fashion wagon ride around City Hall courtesy of Clinton Tractor.
This is a totally FREE event for families made possible by donations from businesses and individuals. The night is filled with FREE entertainment, FREE refreshments and the joy of Christmas.
In the spirit of Christmas giving Mayor Palmieri asks everyone to consider bringing a donation of an unwrapped present for ‘Toys for Kids’.
