Herkimer, NY- The Mohawk Valley Rotary Club announces Allyson McNeil has been chosen to represent their club at the 2019 Rotary Youth Leadership seminar. McNeil is a junior at Frankfort-Schuyler High School.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a Rotary International program designed to recognize and enhance leadership skills among selected young people. In Rotary’s District 7150 (in Central New York) RYLA hosts a weekend leadership seminar that focuses on teens who have just completed their junior year in high school.

The seminar is held every year in July at Cazenovia College located in Cazenovia, NY, and includes skilled presenters who offer the keys to refining participants’ skills and knowledge in the fields of leadership, decision-making, time management, ethics, goal setting, responsibility, self-assurance, communication skills, service, and teamwork.

“Our club is incredibly excited that we are able to sponsor Allyson in attending this great opportunity to learn leadership skills and take part in opportunities to reflect on the past/present while systematically and purposefully planning for the future.” Said Club President Elyse Enea Bellows.
