UTICA, NY (April 25, 2019) – Volunteers from the Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross provided immediate emergency aid to 13 people after a hazardous material incident occurred early Thursday morning on Stark Street in Utica (Oneida County).

The Red Cross provided financial assistance for lodging to 11 adults and two children. In the coming days, Red Cross staff and volunteers will remain available to help those affected by the gas leak as they navigate the road to recovery.
