September is Direct Support Professionals Appreciation Month Utica, NY – The Kelberman Center is celebrating Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Appreciation Month with the launch of a new DSP incentive program open to staff in Kelberman’s four residences located in Chittenango, Fayetteville, and Sylvan Beach, NY. Full-time residential DSP staff in good standing at the end of each quarter will receive a $300.00 bonus – up to $1,200 each year!
“Our residence counselors put their hearts into their work each and every day, supporting our individuals year-long through weekends, holidays, and all kinds of weather,” said Catherine McGuiggan, Managing Director of Program Operations. “We are thrilled to be able to celebrate their dedication and commitment with a new incentive. It’s a small token of our appreciation for the life-changing work they do.”
Residence counselors support our residents’ daily living needs while helping them implement person centered plans. Residence counselors may be full-time or part-time, with flexible hours including days,nights, and weekends.
