UTICA, NY – On Monday, August 6th at 4:00 pm, the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce along with its staff, board, Ambassadors, and Catalyst will be celebrating the grand opening of Root Farm Adventures with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2860 King Road, Sauquoit.
Root Farm Adventures, an accessible challenge course, features low and high ropes courses, a 1,000-foot-long zip line and rock climbing tower.

The Root Farm’s challenge course includes a handicap accessible high ropes course, the first of its type in the country, allowing people of all ages and abilities to participate. The Root Farm zip line and rock climbing tower are also handicap accessible. The Root Farm is also celebrating the grand opening of their 40-foot-high rock climbing tower to the public. The rock climbing tower is open to the public Thursdays through Sunday, July through October. (Thursday and Friday, from 3:00 to 7:00; Saturday from 10:00 to 6:00; Sunday 12:00 to 6:00).

The Root Farm will offer discounts to individuals interested in participating on the zip line and rock climbing wall from 3:00 to 6:00 on the day of the ribbon cutting ($15.00 per zip line ride and $5.00 for rock climbing).
