Monday, December 4th, 3:45 p.m.—Standing outside General Herkimer Elementary School in North Utica, Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi today will explain his strong objection to a proposal in the current tax plan that he says will affect teachers and their students. Brindisi will urge New York’s Congressional delegation to stop a plan that would eliminate the yearly tax deduction of up to $750 many teachers can take when they purchase school supplies for their students. Brindisi will be joined by teachers who oppose the plan.
