Nomad Cinema has scheduled three black and white outdoor movie screenings on the Woodland Farm Brewery lawn at 6002 Trenton Road in Utica, NY. The “Modern Noir” series dates and films include:
-Friday, September 15: “The Mist” (2007)
-Friday, September 22: “Mad Max: Fury Road” (2015)
-Friday, September 29: “Logan” (2017)

Each movie shown is the black and white Director’s Cut. “These films merge the classic look and feel of the golden age of cinema with the blockbuster action modern audiences crave,” said Michael Flores of Nomad Cinema. “These films look gorgeous in black and white and it almost feels like watching an entirely different movie. We hope the local cinephiles will come out and show their support so we can do more events like this.”

All films are rated “R” and are FREE to the public. Each movie begins at dark and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Woodland Farm Brewery will be pouring their delicious local beer while food trucks serve up their specialty dishes (food truck availability subject to change). These three FREE screenings are made possible by Woodland Farm Brewery, Nomad Cinema, MPW Marketing, McCraith Beverages, Swifty’s Restaurant and Pub and Made In Utica.
NOMAD REUNITES WITH WOODLAND

“Last year we put together a fundraiser screening for the Utica Zoo here at Woodland Farm Brewery and we knew we had to come back,” said Mario Restive of Nomad Cinema. “It is a beautiful, open space overlooking Utica and we love the beer Woodland has been releasing.” Founded in 2014, Nomad Cinema’s massive 25’x14’ inflatable screen and professional sound system transform Central New York’s outdoor venues into unique, under-the-stars movie experiences.
