Anthony Brindisi’s campaign released the following statement today in reaction to Congresswoman Claudia Tenney’s Flood Forum:
“This is the oldest trick in the book for Washington politicians like Claudia Tenney—say one thing, do another. During her flood forum today, voters should ask Claudia why she wrote an amendment to the flood insurance bill that would make it harder for policy holders to get their claims paid, or why she voted to raise flood insurance premiums. Real estate professionals have said this legislation could spark a new foreclosure crisis.
It’s clear that Claudia is only here for a photo op and lip service, and that she really stands shoulder to shoulder with insurance companies, not with the people of upstate New York.”
